Since its inception almost 40 years ago, RPAC has worked to ensure that the real estate industry speaks with a unified voice, and continues to provide you with an influential political presence in our nation's capital, state legislatures and city halls.
The St. Louis Association of REALTORS Annual RPAC Auction is just around the corner on June 18th, 2009.
The RPAC Committee is currently looking for donations to the Auction, whether it is a bottle of wine, lottery ticket or weekend stay at the Ozarks, anything helps. Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal and that National Association of REALTORS or any of its state or local associations will not favor or disfavor any member because of the amount contributed. 70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local candidates. Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal, 30% is sent to the National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates. |
